Too often, we neglect to set aside a few moments to really appreciate what we have been blessed with in our lives. Fortunately, this time of year comes around to help us place things in perspective.
Thanksgiving is a time for many of us to gather ’round tables with friends and loved ones and have a few moments where we can express our gratitude with the ones we care about the most in our lives. Others choose to use the holiday for a time of quiet reflection and remember those who have passed on from this world. Still others will work so they may provide for their own families.
No matter the situation, it is my wish all realize we are blessed beyond compare to live in this great nation. For all the shortcomings and faults we can point to, it is helpful to remind ourselves that America was built on solid principles that have stood the test of time and will continue to do so. She is the greatest and freest nation the world has ever witnessed and, for that, we should all give thanks.
It is an honor to serve you in Tennessee’s Legislature. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be your voice and represent your wishes in this great State of ours. Thank you……
